Dr. Rivero brings a wealth of expertise and a compassionate approach to our practice. After earning his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) and practicing dentistry in Caracas, Venezuela, Dr. Rivero was accepted into the prestigious postdoctoral program for Advanced General Dentistry at the University of Connecticut.
Further honing his skills, Dr. Rivero completed advanced training through a one-year Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Internship. He then pursued a rigorous three-year Anesthesiology residency at Jacobi Medical Center, affiliated with the Albert Einstein School of Medicine, a renowned Level 1 trauma center. There, he treated patients for a wide range of needs, from routine surgical procedures to critical trauma cases.
In 2019, Dr. Rivero achieved board certification by the American Dental Board of Anesthesiology (ADBA), the highest accreditation for anesthesia in dentistry. His dedication to patient care and continuous learning ensures that our patients receive the safest and most effective treatments available.
Dr. Rivero keeps a busy private practice in New York and holds a teaching position at Saint Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx, where he teaches dental residents and provides anesthesia to a wide range of patients in the dental setting.
